Coming up Roses

Stop and smell the roses... and drink them too! This delicious and refreshing cocktail combines our Rose Petal Shrub with gin, ginger beer, fresh lemon juice, and soda water. Rose supports the Spirit, and mixes great with them too! When you need the strength to take on whatever comes your way, this spiked shrub will have your day Coming up Roses.

Ingredients:

(Makes 2)
1oz Rose Petal Shrub
2oz Favorite Gin (optional)
2oz Ginger beer
1oz Lemon juice
2oz Sparkling water
2 Lemon twists
Ice
Dried Rose Petals (optional)

Directions:

For a beautiful and aromatic bonus, rub a lemon wedge on the rim of a rocks glass and roll it in dried rose petals from your Plant of the Month Box and set aside (optional). Add Rose Petal Shrub, gin, ginger beer, and lemon juice to a shaker or glass with ice in it and stir. Strain over ice in a rocks glass, top off with soda water, and give it a little lemon twist for a refreshing Summer Herbal Cocktail!
