Farm to Bottle Hydrosol Trio

Three expressions of the farm, crafted slowly and intentionally by Herbal Revolution founder and clinical herbalist Katheryn Langelier.

For Kathi, making a hydrosol begins long before the still is fired. It starts with growing and tending the plants, observing them through the seasons, and knowing when each is ready to be harvested. Years of herbal practice and an intimate relationship with the plants guide not only how each botanical is distilled, but which plants belong together.

Each hydrosol is copper-distilled on our certified organic Maine farm in small batches. The process is slow, sensory, and deeply intuitive. Kathi works with scent, character, season, and the qualities she has come to know in each plant, adjusting and blending until the individual botanicals come together as something greater than their parts. Intention and ritual are woven throughout the process—from harvest through distillation to the final blend.

This collection brings together three distinctly different creations:

Summer Crush captures the abundance and brightness of summer with Mojito Mint, Sacred Basil, Lemon Balm, and Calendula—a fresh, joyful blend reminiscent of sun-drenched days and the clink of ice in a cold glass.

Between Worlds pairs Mugwort and Yarrow in a more mysterious, contemplative blend, crafted around the plants’ long associations with the dreamworld, clarity, boundaries, and protection.

Maine Forest brings together White Pine, White Spruce, Balsam Fir, and Northern White Cedar. Crisp and subtly warming, it carries the layered scent and grounding presence of Maine’s North woods.

Together, the trio offers a glimpse into a part of Herbal Revolution that is difficult to reproduce at scale: medicine-making as a relationship between herbalist, plants, place, and process. These are not blends developed from a formula on paper. They emerge from the farm, from Kathi’s decades of experience with the plants, and from the time and attention she gives each small batch.
